Welcome to my web store - all our stoneware pottery is one of a kind, hand thrown by Norine D'Auria - a struggling potter for several years. I enjoy working with stoneware clay because of its rich, earthy colors and the natural properties of the clays and glazes. My bowls, pots, pitchers, bottles and jugs are all thrown on a wheel and fired at cone 6. The glazes are all lead free, most are custom formulas. I like to create functional pieces, with the intent of being used on a regular basis, not just put on a shelf as a collection. All pieces are safe for food, safe for use in the oven and dishwasher safe. I love baking apple pies in my bowls (if interested, I will include a copy of my recipe with your order). |
